Frodo Baggins is a central figure in J.R.R. Tolkien's epic fantasy novel, *The Lord of the Rings*, set in the world of Middle Earth. A hobbit of the Shire, Frodo's quiet life is upended when he inherits the One Ring from his uncle, Bilbo Baggins.
